Happy APRIL!! ... How are your New Year Resolutions going?

I hope to share tips and motivation to help you along the journey here. You may find yourself completely focused or wondering if it is even worth it to make the next step.

We are here to guide you on the journey. Can you believe it is the FOURTH month of 2023... already!? Where did the first quarter of the year go? How many of you made some BIG GOALS and now are wondering how you can catch up and be sure you end the year with a smile and sense of pride?


If that's the case, my best advice is to take baby steps... and try to do the next best thing. If you walked 1 mile last week, this week aim for 1.5 or maybe 2! If stress was overwhelming and you can' t imagine another week like that one without a vacation... plan something SMALL and easy to help you relax and get the strength to move forward. Small steps forward help us build momentum and keep us from feeling hopeless and throwing in the towel.


If you have been checking off every goal so far, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! I am glad you are winning and hope you take note of this season of success so you can remind yourself of all you can accomplish when you are focused!


Before I go, I wanted to share some quick tips to GET BACK ON TRACK! If you're interested, keep reading.


  1. Start with small changes: Make small changes to your diet and lifestyle instead of trying to overhaul everything at once. This will help you stick with it and make lasting changes.

  2. Keep a food journal: Write down everything you eat and drink for a few days to get a better idea of your eating habits. This will help you identify areas where you can make improvements.

  3. Drink more water: Drinking water can help you feel full and prevent overeating. Aim for at least 8 glasses a day.

  4. Cut back on sugar: Sugar can be addictive and lead to weight gain. Try to cut back on sugary drinks and snacks.

  5. Eat more protein: Protein can help you feel full and satisfied. Aim to include protein in every meal.
