Dr. Bell is a Quadruple Board-Certified Physician: Board Certified in Adult, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Lifestyle Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She specializes in Weight Management and Wellness. In addition, Dr. Bell can address any underlying depression or anxiety which may add to your difficulty maintaining your weight and having a balanced life. We understand just how busy life can be and how tough it is to maintain balance. TheHealthyWeighMD provides a comprehensive evaluation to determine the underlying causes of obesity and overweight. Obesity is a disease and we will work together to find the best way to treat it.
During your initial evaluation, Dr. Bell will also take a careful look at your medication regimen and will offer you and your primary care physician suggestions to eliminate or substitute medications known to have a negative impact on weight.
All services are conducted through a telemedicine platform which is especially useful during this COVID-19 Pandemic. We see patients in North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.
Since March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected us mentally, physically, and spiritually. Many have lost loved ones and experienced burnout. As part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, we must address our mental health needs in this time.
